Opening of the 2020 Nghe An Provincial Sports Family Tournament

On the evening of July 10, at the Nghe An Provincial Sports Training Center, the Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports organized the opening ceremony of the Nghe An Provincial Sports Family Tournament 2020 in response to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" for the period 2012 - 2020.

Participating in the tournament were Sports families from 20/21 districts, cities and towns in the province including: Que Phong, Quy Chau, Quy Hop, Thai Hoa, Nghia Dan, Thanh Chuong, Do Luong, Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Quynh Luu, Hoang Mai, Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, Anh Son, Cua Lo, Tan Ky and Vinh.

The tournament gathered more than 200 athletes, competing in 2 sports: table tennis and badminton. The competition content was in the form of doubles: father and son, mother and son, husband and wife.

This year's tournament takes place from July 10 to July 12 at Nghe An Provincial Sports Stadium, No. 6, Dao Tan, Vinh City. The tournament is expected to contribute to building cultural families, cultural villages and hamlets. This is also the place to select athletes representing the province to participate in the National Sports Family Tournament.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Nghe An province also presented Certificates of Merit to recognize individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in the national Family Sports Movement in recent years.
