Opening of Hanoi - Nghe An Product Week 2022

Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Also attending were representatives of departments and branches of Hanoi and Nghe An province, Investment and Trade Promotion Centers of 11 provinces and cities, representatives of Vinh City People's Committee and over 100 enterprises and investors.

Hanoi - Nghe An Product Week 2022with a scale of over 100 booths promoting and introducing OCOP specialty products, handicrafts, gifts, cuisine... of Hanoi, Nghe An and 9 other provinces and cities across the country.

Through carefully selected, quality products, the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion hopes that the "Hanoi-Nghe An Product Week" will become an annual program, helping to strengthen connections, promote and introduce the potential, strengths, specialty products, OCOP products, craft villages, and tourist destinations of Hanoi to Nghe An province.

With over 249OCOP products, of which, there is 1 product with 5-star potential, 208 OCOP products with 4 stars and 40 products with 3 stars, Nghe An is one of the top provinces in the country in terms of quantity and quality of OCOP products with 3 stars or more. Nghe An OCOP products have demonstrated the ability to promote the potential advantages of regional specialties.

Typically, Nam Dan district with products:lotus from Uncle Ho's hometown, Nam Dan soy sauce, tapioca starch, Nam Nghia veal sausage. Thanh Chuong and Anh Son districts promote midland products such as tea, citrus trees, hill chicken, pickled cucumber. Con Cuong district exploits community tourism village products (homestay), leaf wine, brocade, medicinal plants; Quynh Luu has spirulina products and seafood specialties; Yen Thanh promotes products processed from cereals and citrus trees; Ky Son highland district has ginger, Shan snow tea...

Along with product promotion and introduction, the connecting and cooperating units also have products, cultural promotion, tourism promotion; performing the art of making to he; performing Hanoi cuisine; performing traditional arts...

Opening remarksHanoi Product Week- Nghe An 2022, Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee welcomed the delegates and businesses, craft villages, hoping that "Hanoi - Nghe An Product Week 2022" is a connecting event between the two localities; not only to promote and introduce the potential, strengths, and images of Hanoi and Nghe An but also other provinces and cities; strengthen cooperation activities, promote investment, trade, tourism, agriculture; support local businesses to connect and seek business cooperation opportunities.

Nghe An Province highly appreciates the initiative to jointly organize the "Hanoi - Nghe An Product Week 2022" and the enthusiastic response and participation of Hanoi's units and enterprises. The week is an activity with profound political significance, and at the same time is a meeting place for enterprises to promote their brands and products, seek trade opportunities, contributing to the development of the local economy in particular and the whole country in general.

Immediately after the ribbon-cutting ceremony, delegates visited typical booths of Hanoi and Nghe An at the Vinh City walking street on Ho Tung Mau Street.

It is expected that Hanoi - Nghe An Product Week 2022 will take place from now until June 12.
