With a long history of development, Cua Lo is a land with a rich cultural heritage. According to the Provincial Monuments and Landscapes Management Board, in Cua Lo town, there are 35 historical and cultural relics that have been decentralized for management, including 3 relics ranked at the national level, including: Van Loc Temple, Mai Bang Temple, Hoang Van Family Temple, many relics have been ranked at the provincial level, such as Lo Son Pagoda, Song Ngu Pagoda, Dien Nhat Temple, Yen Luong Temple, Bau Loi Temple, Lang Hieu Temple, Hoang The Family Temple, Phung Phuc Kieu Church... Bau Loi Temple is located in an area of ​​nearly 16,000 m2, built during the Le Dynasty to worship Cao Son Cao Cac, the three Holy Mothers, and the completed citadel... The temple has a lower, middle, and upper hall that have been renovated, but still retains the ancient architecture. Lo Son Pagoda in Nghi Tan Ward was built by Prime Minister Nguyen Van Mien in the Vinh Thinh year (1705 - 1719) under King Le Du Tong, also known as Pho Am Tu. The pagoda is of moderate size, peaceful and sacred, located on a beautiful location, leaning against Lo mountain, facing north.

Over the centuries, Lo Son Pagoda still retains its ancient features, blending with the lyrical nature, making the relic a unique cultural work. Currently, the pagoda still preserves many ancient artifacts such as statues, stone steles, etc.

Van Loc Temple in Nghi Tan Ward was built during the Le Trung Hung period. It is an ancient and large-scale architectural work, worshiping Thai Uy Quan Cong Nguyen Su Hoi (1444-1506) - the eldest son of Thai Su Cuong Quoc Cong Nguyen Xi. He was a person with great merit in protecting the country and people, repelling enemies, opening up villages, and establishing Van Loc village (today's Nghi Tan ward).

Van Loc Temple has a beautiful location, in front of the temple is the peaceful Cam River, behind is Lo Mountain, on the right is Dragon Mountain, on the left is Tuong Mountain creating the "dragon and tiger" position. The temple was ranked by the State as a National Historical and Cultural Relic in 1991. In recent years, the temple has been restored and renovated. The temple still preserves many ancient artifacts, including a unique 4-sided stone stele erected on the left side of the temple.

Mai Bang Temple is located in Nghi Thuy ward, about 3km north of the town center. The temple was built during the Le Dynasty, worshiping Chieu Trung Vuong Le Khoi - a great contributor under the Le Dynasty, who helped Le Loi defeat the Ming invaders, worshiping Nguyen Thi Bich Chau - a beautiful and talented noble concubine, revered by the people as the goddess of the sea,...

Currently, Mai Bang Temple still preserves about 75 ancient artifacts such as royal decrees, plaques, palanquins, parallel sentences, large characters, dragon thrones, tablets, incense tables, eight treasures... These are precious artifacts with historical, cultural and artistic value.

Each relic and scenic spot of Cua Lo has its own beauty in architecture and worship rituals, but has a close relationship in cultural and historical depth, demonstrating the tradition of remembering the source of our people.
