(Baonghean.vn) - Orphaned at the age of 11, life is very difficult but Bui Thi Ngoc Anh - 12th grade student C10, Tan Ky High School always tries hard to study to realize her dream of becoming a doctor to treat and save people. In the 2016 National High School Exam at Vinh University exam cluster, Anh achieved high scores in both groups A and B and was the candidate with the highest score in group B in the mountainous district of Tan Ky.

Asking for directions to Bui Thi Ngoc Anh's house (Phuong Ky 1 ​​hamlet, Ky Son commune, Tan Ky district) is not difficult, because in recent days, the "miracle" of this female student has been the admiration of the people here.

When Anh was 11 years old and her younger brother was only 4 years old, their mother suddenly passed away after an accident. Their father struggled to raise Anh and her sisters, then remarried. After a while, because of the pain of losing their mother, Anh's studies declined. In high school, understanding their father's hardships, Anh and her sisters encouraged each other to study with the hope of having stable jobs and escaping poverty.

During the 3 years of studying at Tan Ky High School, Anh always achieved the title of excellent student with an average score of over 8.6. And in the 2016 National High School Exam, at Vinh University exam cluster, Anh achieved a total score of 26.3 points in block B (including priority points), including 9 points in Math; 7.4 points in Biology and 8.4 points in Chemistry, becoming the candidate with the highest score in block B in Tan Ky district. In block A, Anh also achieved 27.3 points (including priority points), the highest in Tan Ky High School, the second highest in the district.

In the Hanoi National University's capacity assessment exam at Vinh University's examination cluster on May 7, 2016, Anh achieved a score of 103/140 and received a notice of admission to the Faculty of Pharmacy from Hanoi National University.

Ngoc Anh also regularly tutors and teaches her younger brother.

Sharing her secret to studying well, Anh said: “In addition to class time, reviewing and doing homework is very important. If I don’t understand something, I ask my friends and teachers at school so that I don’t miss any knowledge. Although I have been accepted to Hanoi National University, with my score in this exam, I plan to apply to Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy to fulfill my dream of becoming a doctor.”

Not only is she a good student and a good student, Ngoc Anh is also an active, positive and enthusiastic class cadre, always completing all tasks of the class as well as the school. In addition, she is also the organizer for the classes in extracurricular hours, "quiz to learn" competitions...
