Inauguration of Japanese garment factory in Nghe An Southeast Economic Zone

Attending the inauguration ceremony were comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of a number of departments, branches, and representatives of investors.

Nakano Vietnam Garment Project in WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An was granted an investment registration certificate on July 14, 2021, with a land area of ​​0.6 hectares and a total investment of about 70 billion VND.

This is a project specializing in the production of garments for export, with a designed capacity of 30,000-50,000 products/month, employing about 300 workers, and is one of the projects that Nghe An province is calling for investment in.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the construction progress of the factory. In the past, despite the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, the travel of the Company's leaders and the implementation of procedures and construction of the factory were quite difficult, but after only nearly 16 months since the issuance of the Investment Registration Certificate, 10 months since the commencement of construction, the project was completed and put into operation.

Comrade Bui Thanh An affirmed that this shows the confidence of the foreign business community in the very good investment environment in Nghe An as well as the potential, strengths and investment opportunities in Nghe An that are always open. The operation of Nakano Vietnam Factory will contribute to creating more jobs, as well as helping Nghe An receive new technologies in production and management.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An also thanked the investor and affirmed that the inauguration of Nakano Vietnam Garment Factory along with achievements in attracting investment will contribute to spreading the investment environment in Nghe An to the world and requested departments and branches to continue to coordinate, create the best conditions for the project, and support investors throughout the operation process.

Speaking at the ceremony, the investor representative thanked Nghe An province and departments, branches and localities for their support during the project implementation and also affirmed that this is an environmentally friendly project with advanced technology, which will be a good working environment for workers and laborers, and at the same time hoped to receive support from departments, branches and localities throughout the operation process.
