Rewarding 140 teachers and students of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted

On the morning of May 15, the Provincial Education Promotion Fund and the Department of Education and Training held an award ceremony for teachers and students with high achievements at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.

According to the list announced this year, Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted has 34 teachers and 106 students receiving awards from the Provincial Scholarship Fund. In particular, the award for each teacher whose student won the National Prize is 700,000 VND/person.

Of which, 5 students won first prize in the National Excellent Student Competition, 4 students won prizes in the English Math Competition, 1 student won the National English Gold Medal and were each awarded 1,000,000 VND.

In the remaining cases, the reward is from 500,000 to 800,000 VND, for students who won second prize, third prize, and encouragement prize in the National Excellent Student Competition and the National Math Olympiad, National English Olympiad and Science and Technology Competition. The total reward amount on this occasion is 100 million VND.

The awards show recognition and praise for students' efforts in studying, and at the same time encourage and praise the teaching staff to always strive and compete to teach well and study well, bringing many high results for the school and for the provincial education sector.
