Rewarding 16 outstanding collectives and individuals in the movement to self-manage security and order

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 9, Vinh City People's Committee held a summary of 10 years of building and replicating the self-management model of security, order and civil protection according to Decision No. 57 of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee and Decree 38/CP.

Over the past 10 years, Vinh city has paid attention to and implemented well Decree 38 of the government. The whole city has built 91 models to ensure security and order, drug-free neighborhoods, peaceful and united parishioners models...

Through the models, the public provided 6,300 pieces of information, of which 3,000 were valuable, helping the city police investigate and arrest 3,192 cases and 4,352 criminals. They seized 90 guns, 120 kg of explosives, 1,350 motorbikes and many other assets worth nearly 30 billion VND.

Vinh City People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to outstanding collectives and individuals in implementing Decree 38 of the Government.

To date, the city has established 16 People's Protection Committees with 515 members. The People's Protection Force has actively contributed to ensuring security and order and the movement of the entire people to protect national security.

The discovery provided 10,424 valuable sources of information to help ward police and city police investigate and clarify nearly 7,100 cases; handle more than 8,300 subjects, recover and return to the people assets worth more than 2 billion 635 million VND, 1,034 motorbikes, 332 televisions, 432 computers and many other valuable assets.

On this occasion, the City People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 8 collectives and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement to ensure security and order, and protect people in the period 2006 - 2016.
