Rewarding 2 brave young men who chased robbers in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - Hearing the cry for help, Vinh and Dung took their motorbikes to chase and arrest the man who stole a woman's wallet. The two men's brave actions were awarded a certificate of merit by the provincial police.

On April 21, Nghe An Provincial Police organized a ceremony to present certificates of merit from the Provincial Police Director to two brave young men who chased and caught robbers in Hoa Hieu ward, Thai Hoa town.

Major Phan Tuan Anh, Head of the Department of Building the People's Movement to Protect National Security, Nghe An Police, authorized to present certificates of merit to Vinh and Dung.

It is known that on April 3, Mr. Dang Anh Dung (born in 1989) and Mr. Truong Cong Vinh (born in 1983), residing in Hoa Hieu ward, Thai Hoa town, and some friends were sitting drinking coffee on Tran Hung Dao street, Hoa Hieu ward, when they heard the screams of a woman on the street.

Seeing a subject snatching a citizen's wallet, Vinh and Dung immediately took their motorbikes to chase after the subject. After driving about 2km to Quang Tien ward, Thai Hoa town, the two men caught up and arrested the subject along with the woman's wallet. After that, the two men handed the subject over to Thai Hoa town police.

To promptly encourage and motivate the brave spirit of the two people participating in the robbery, the Provincial Police Director awarded certificates of merit to Mr. Dung and Mr. Vinh for their outstanding achievements in the movement of the whole people to protect national security.
