According to the assessment of many teachers present at the exam site, this year's exam content closely follows the textbook program. However, the way this year's exam is designed is new, not stereotyped, requiring students to have high synthesis and application skills. With this exam, if students guess randomly, it will be difficult to get high scores because the probability of marking correctly is not high and requires thinking.

As for candidate Ha Thi Xuan Vui and other candidates studying at Quy Hop 3 High School, they said that the math questions were difficult from question 35 onwards and for those with average academic ability and those specializing in block C, the ability to pass was only 40-50%.

Sharing the same opinion, candidate Cao Van Tai (student of Ha Huy Tap High School) said: Although I took the A block exam, this exam was still a challenge for me. The exam differentiated very clearly. From question 1 to question 25, the questions were easy, at a basic level, getting a score of 5 was not difficult. But from question 30 onwards, it became more difficult and I had to have a solid grasp of knowledge from both grades 11 and 12, calculate quickly and accurately to get a good score.

Other candidates also commented that with this exam, it is very difficult to get a perfect score. And there is a possibility that there will be fewer 10 points than last year's exam.

So, today, candidates have completed half of the National High School Exam. According to the Department of Education and Training, on the first day of the exam, 2 candidates were suspended for using documents in the exam room and 161 candidates were absent from the exam.

Commenting on test number 110, teacher Pham Thi Lien - Math teacher at Love math center also said: The test differentiates well. From question 1 to question 25 is very basic knowledge, closely following the textbook. From question 26 to 35, more calculations are required and the conditions are stricter. The questions at the end are for good students.

Teacher Lien also said: This year's exam has many good points, including many practical math questions but not too difficult because they are close to life, such as questions 22, 27, 30 about calculating interest rates on bank deposits, geometry problems used in optimization math to calculate economics... The creation of this exam is appropriate and helps classify candidates and the purpose of considering admission to universities.

According to the Department of Education and Training, on the first day of the exam, one candidate was suspended for using documents in the exam room and 64 candidates were absent from the exam.

Tomorrow, in the morning, candidates will take the Natural Science exam, and in the afternoon, they will take the Foreign Language exam. The whole province will also have 21 “empty” exam sites because no students registered for the Natural Science exam.
