Of these, nearly 370,000 questions were sent in text messages and about 280,000 were sent via social networks, Russia 24TV reported. The questions came not only from all over Russia but also from abroad.
Many questions concern domestic economic, educational, and health issues, especially economic issues because next year there will be elections in Russia.
Last year, Russian President Vladimir Putin answered 80 of the more than 2.3 million questions he received. That interview lasted about three and a half hours.
This year's Live Line Dialogue is the 15th time President Putin has directly answered questions sent to him by the Russian people through various channels. The program is broadcast live on radio, television and online newspapers.
Within the first 20 minutes, the live broadcast link of this conversation on Russia's RT channel had about 34,000 followers, thousands of likes, nearly 400 shares and hundreds of comments with positive messages sent to President Putin./.
