Launching the Winter Volunteer Campaign 2016, Spring Volunteer Campaign 2017

(Baonghean.vn) - The Youth Union of Nghe An province has just issued an official dispatch guiding the implementation of the Winter Volunteer Campaign 2016 and Spring Volunteer Campaign 2017 to union members and youths throughout the province.

An activity in response to the 2016 Spring volunteer campaign of Vinh University Youth Union.

With the theme “I love my Fatherland”, the Winter Volunteer Program 2016 and Spring Volunteer Program 2017 will be implemented from November 2016 to the end of February 2017.

This year, the implementation area is all districts and cities in the whole province; in which priority is given to localities in border areas, remote areas; localities frequently affected by natural disasters, storms, floods, severe cold. At the same time, attention is paid to organizing youth volunteer teams to mountainous districts, disadvantaged areas, and poor communes.

The activities identified by the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union include the programs "Warm Winter for Children", "Accompanying Farmers", "For Community Health" and organizing volunteer Spring activities to support and take care of Tet for disadvantaged youth and children and the poor.

The Winter Volunteer Campaign 2016 and Spring Volunteer Campaign 2017 not only aim to promote the pioneering and volunteering role of young people in socio-economic development, especially in difficult areas, but also create an environment for young people to practice, contribute and mature; contribute to strengthening solidarity, gathering young people in ethnic, religious, border and island areas; consolidate and improve the quality of the Youth Union and Association organizations.
