(Baonghean.vn) - The Investigation Police Agency (IPA) of Dien Chau District Police has issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute 3 suspects residing in Dien Chau District to continue investigating and clarifying the crime of "Violating regulations on wildlife protection".

This is the result of the project to arrest the group of subjects.wildlife trade, seized 09 tiger skins; 01 pair of wild buffalo horns that Dien Chau District Police had just destroyed.

Recently, Dien Chau District Police have focused on directing and grasping the situation and violations of the law related to wildlife, thereby discovering that in Dien Lam commune, Dien Chau district, there are a number of suspicious subjects buying and selling wildlife products during the Lunar New Year 2023.

Determining the complexity and seriousness of this type of crime, Dien Chau District Police reported to the Director, Deputy Director, and Head of the Investigation Police Agency to establish a special project to combat it.

During the investigation, the police encountered many difficulties because the criminals operated very secretly and had sophisticated methods of concealment. However, with the determination to fight crime to the end, under the direction of the Provincial Police, Dien Chau District Police successfully broke the investigation, arrested 3 subjects including: Truong Sy Hai (born in 1970), Vu Van Thuong (born in 1990), both residing in Dien Lam commune; Le Tuan Minh (born in 1976), residing in Dien Doai commune, seized 9 tiger skins; 1 pair of wild buffalo horns for violating regulations on the protection of endangered and rare animals.

Currently, the case is continuing to be investigated and expanded.
