Ky Son: After the flood, traffic is still congested

Although the localities and districtsKy SonDespite efforts to overcome the consequences of the floods that occurred from September 4 to 7, some roads have yet to be opened to traffic.

On the morning of September 20, Mr. Vi Oanh - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ky Son district said: The road from Chieu Luu commune to Bao Thang commune has been processed and opened to traffic on the afternoon of September 19. The roads from the center of Bao Nam commune to 3 villages: Huoi Hoc, Luu Tan and Thao Di have not been opened to traffic yet. In particular, the Xop Thap overflow culvert on the road from Huu Lap commune to Bao Nam is still flooded and flowing rapidly. Vehicles cannot pass through, people who need to cross the overflow culvert still have to carry their motorbikes.

Previously, on the night of September 4, Ky Son district experienced heavy rain in some communes, then on September 7, another heavy rain also poured down on these localities, causing the main roads from the district center to the communes of Huu Lap, Bao Nam, Bao Thang and the roads to many villages of the communes: Chieu Luu, Huu Kiem, Pha Danh, Huu Lap, Bao Nam, Bao Thang... to be isolated due to landslides. The above heavy rains causedflash floodsOn some streams, Ky Son district recorded damage of over 100 billion VND.
