Kienlongbank deposit interest rates at the counter March 2025

From February 26, Kienlongbank will apply a new interest rate schedule for individual customers who deposit savings at the counter. Interest rates range from 3.5% - 5.3%/year, depending on the term.

The 1-4 month terms have an interest rate of 3.5%/year, while the 5 month term is listed at 3.7%/year. The 6-9 month terms remain at 5.2%/year, while the 10-11 month term remains at 5.3%/year.

The 12-month term interest rate remains unchanged at 5.5% per year. However, the 13-month and 15-month terms have decreased by 0.2 percentage points to 5.3% per year. The longer terms from 17 to 36 months have also decreased by 0.2 percentage points to 5.3% per year.

For short-term deposits from 1 week to 3 weeks, the interest rate remains at 0.5%/year.

Kienlongbank online savings interest rates drop sharply

From February 26, Kienlongbank also adjusted to reduce online savings interest rates. Currently, interest rates range from 4.1% - 5.4%/year for terms from 1 month to 60 months, down from 0.2 to 1 percentage point compared to the previous month.

Interest rates for 1-4 month terms decreased by 0.2 percentage points to 4.1%/year. 5 month terms decreased to 4.3%/year. For 6-9 month terms, the new interest rate is 5.4%/year, down 0.4 percentage points.

The two 10-11 month terms decreased by 0.4 percentage points, down to 5.5%/year. Meanwhile, the 12-month term remained at 5.7%/year. The 13-36 month terms decreased by 0.6 percentage points, down to 5.5%/year.

The sharpest decrease was recorded at the 60-month term, now only 5.4%/year, down 1 percentage point compared to the previous month.
