Before discussion, the National Assembly will listen to Chairman of the National Assembly's Judiciary Committee Nguyen Van Hien present a report explaining, accepting and revising the draft of this Code.
The draft Civil Procedure Code (amended) was drafted by the Supreme People's Court and discussed at the 9th session of the 13th National Assembly.
At the 9th session, the Judiciary Committee's Inspection Report said that the Judiciary Committee basically agreed with the necessity of amending this Code.
The guiding views and requirements for the development of the Civil Procedure Code project are stated in the Submission.
The draft Civil Procedure Code (amended) has been fully prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents, and is eligible to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and comments.
However, the Judiciary Committee noted that it would only amend and supplement issues that are truly necessary, clarify the reasons for the amendments and supplements; overcome the shortcomings, shortcomings, and limitations of current regulations, and at the same time meet the practical requirements of adjudicating current types of civil cases in our country.
In addition, it is necessary to continue to innovate civil proceedings at People's Courts to create favorable conditions for people to access justice; thoroughly grasp and strictly implement Resolution No. 67/2013/QH13 dated November 29, 2013 of the National Assembly to minimize general principles and regulations awaiting implementation guidance documents.
It is expected that the Civil Procedure Code (amended) will be passed by the National Assembly during this session.
