How do people start a business?
Starting a business (called a start-up) is when an individual intends to have their own business, not necessarily a grand company or a terrible idea, but sometimes simply you want to manage and pay yourself.

Why is entrepreneurship important?
In short, I would like to quote what Mr. Luong Van Can said nearly a century ago: Great nations become rich and powerful through trade, great capitalists become rich through business, so business should not be as strict as before and not pay attention to research. But because in the past, our country only focused on passing exams to become an official, nowadays, studying the West only focuses on graduating, few people have the will to do business. As a Confucian scholar, it is surprising that he pointed out 10 weaknesses of Vietnamese people when doing business. Our people do not have a product, do not know how to respect the profession, do not have business knowledge are 3 out of 10 ideas. Until now, many people still think that a brand is only associated with a product, but 100 years ago, a Vietnamese person pointed out that people need a product, which is so reasonable and profound.
In developed countries, the highest taxpayers are among the most respected and honored by society. Israel has a slogan of "popularizing entrepreneurship", according to which every second-year student must set up a business to apply the knowledge they have learned at university. Therefore, from a small country with no natural resources, Israel has risen up the global value chain and become an economically powerful country.
Meanwhile, we still lack the spirit of entrepreneurship and the spirit of practicality. The spirit of becoming an entrepreneur has not yet become the most quintessential part of life, has not been nurtured and cultivated from generation to generation, and has not been properly appreciated. We must find a way to make the spirit of entrepreneurship and business permeate the blood of each person, and learning must also be specific and useful to help with business, to live well, to be tolerant and to be happy.
At this time of the country, when great opportunities come with no small challenges, our policies in education and in the economy need to place the important role of entrepreneurial spirit and start-up spirit.
How do people start a business?
What the government needs to do, what each Vietnamese person needs to do to make everyone want to practice is a difficult and big problem. Difficult because it is not only an economic problem but also a problem of culture, history, institutions, the way of studying by rote, quoting sentences, and the mindset of studying to become an official that has been ingrained for thousands of years.
Because the problem is difficult and too large, with many components, there is no single solution that satisfies all of them, but must be a synthesis of many solutions.
Policies and laws are truly for the people and businesses, clear, transparent, and stable; strictly followed and enforced; the business environment is open but safe; social psychology is comfortable, accepting success and failure, adventure and risk as normal; the mindset and position of entrepreneurs are increasingly respected; associations are truly strong, helping each other in business more...
And there are many more issues, very specific, such as determining what a startup is, is it true that a newly established business is a startup or are there any other criteria? And how do mature businesses "guide" new, "confused" juniors entering the market? In a neighborhood with many stores, a new store opens, so the other stores in the neighborhood temporarily close for a while, to let the juniors join in. Perhaps the entrepreneurial spirit needs to be initiated from seemingly small things that are not small at all like that, and on a larger scale, it is raised to become a business culture, business ethics, etc.
The story welcomes failure
In all the leading countries in the world, where every few people own a business, people are very interested in starting a business. Although it is possible to register 10 businesses, within 5 years, 7 or 8 businesses "die", but that is normal. In these countries, the saying of Samuel Beckett "Ever tried. Ever failed. That's okay. Try again. Fail again. Fail better" is probably the most mentioned and applied.
The story of welcoming failure or philosophy of failure is not only told from the heart as a sharing, sympathy, encouragement but also as real support policies for the "fallen" to move on. When interviewing for a job, people ask what failures you have had, the magnitude of the failures to recruit people, this may be strange to us when we often ask what achievements you have had? To get a more skilled worker, the number of products that person has damaged is greater, of course the price to pay is like that. And that is just direct production, after all, it is still much simpler than business, so, paying the price for business is also a matter of course.
The good news is that the entrepreneurial spirit in Vietnam, though slow, is still increasing day by day, hour by hour, as evidenced by the number of registered businesses constantly increasing, not to mention the team of tens of thousands of unregistered business people. It has been clearly felt that wherever "business" becomes the first choice, becomes attractive, attracts talented people to the extent that the profession of cadres, civil servants, and administrative officials will become less attractive to that extent. And there is also more sharing, not just stopping at shouting slogans but holding "bricks and stones" in hand to crush every time someone fails. And wherever business develops, there will be great economic development. A typical example is Ho Chi Minh City, where the number of businesses accounts for more than 1/3 of the total number of businesses nationwide.
Must act, must start a business!
Along with expectations for TPP, AEC (ASEAN Economic Community), etc., with a series of standard, fundamental, visionary long-term and short-term solutions that have been and will be issued and seriously implemented, we have the right to hope for 2 million businesses in the next few years.
Although the number of businesses is important, what is more important and vital is how to get people to jump into business, to arouse the spirit of entrepreneurship, to be confident in doing business, to be proud of the career they have chosen to pass on to their children and spread in the community. We must do something to make people dare to accept, dare to make trade-offs, dare to fail, dare to act even if they are not perfect in order to jump into business.
Let me reaffirm once again that the country's business community is growing in number and strength day by day, hour by hour. Although they still face many difficulties, they have and will "change the skin and flesh" of this country, they will be the backbone of the economy. The Party, the State and many people are thinking about them, not only thinking but also day and night worrying and worrying with businesses, solving difficulties, helping them grow. Many people have understood that the business brand is the national brand, the business assets are the national assets, the joys and sorrows of businesses are the joys and sorrows of the nation, the growth of businesses is the growth of the nation.
Although there are still some scornful words, even to the point of being cruel, every time a business fails. However, “first people ignore you, then they mock you, then they attack you,and then you win”, Mahatma Gandhi, a shining example of perseverance, said so.
And then you win in the end, for sure!
