First discovery of wood that glows at night

(Baonghean.vn)– On the night of December 7, while sleeping in the middle of the forest, a group of people discovered pieces of wood that could emit light. And especially, this natural wood became brighter in the dark.

Leave it in the dark for about 1 to 2 minutes and this strange wood will suddenly emit white light.

That unique wood was discovered by a group of foresters at around 8:00 p.m. on December 7 in a primeval forest in Tam Dinh commune, Tuong Duong district (Nghe An).

The wood pieces glow when exposed to light and look normal like other types of wood.

Mr. HVP in Tuong Duong district, the person who discovered the wood, said that when everyone in the group had just turned off the lights to go to sleep, he saw faint, white light spots right next to his hut (a small, crudely made hut for temporary shelter while in the forest by highlanders). At first, he thought it was white rocks reflecting the moonlight. However, when the moon was hidden by the shade of trees, the darker it got, the brighter the light at that spot became. Immediately after that, he called everyone to dig it up and realized it was a type of wood.

He added that these were the remaining pieces of wood from an ancient tree that had decomposed, they were very light, and during the day they were brown. The wood had a pleasant aroma. Currently, the group of people who went to the forest have brought the strange pieces of wood back home to keep carefully. When asked, no one knows what kind of wood it is and why it glows like that.

Leave in the dark for 1 to 2 minutes and the wood will glow and the light will gradually become brighter.
