On the afternoon of November 11, the Standing Committee of Cua Lo City Party Committee held a working session with Nghe An Newspaper, Nghe An Radio and Television Station, and Nghe An Journalists Association. The content of the working session discussed propaganda coordination work in 2021, and the key orientation of propaganda work in 2022 and the following years.

On behalf of Nghe An Radio and Television Station, Nghe An Newspaper, and Nghe An Journalists Association, there were the following comrades:Tran Minh Ngoc - Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station, Chairman of Nghe An Journalists Association; Ngo Duc Kien - Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Journalists Association; Ho Thi Ngan - Permanent Vice Chairman of Nghe An Journalists Association; Tran Huu Nghia - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper.

Also attending were representatives of leaders of functional departments of Cua Lo town, Nghe An Journalists Association, Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station.

Press accompanies coastal town

Press works on publications and programs of Nghe An Newspaper, Nghe An Radio and Television Station, newspapers of the Central Government, ministries, departments and branches located in Nghe An have contributed to the rapid, timely and effective transmission and dissemination of policies and all activities in all fields of socio-economics, national defense and security, and Party building work of Cua Lo town.

In addition to the achievements, the coordination and communication work between Cua Lo town and Nghe An Newspaper, Nghe An Radio and Television Station, and Nghe An Journalists Association still has some limitations and difficulties. Especially in the two years of 2020 - 2021, the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic has greatly affected the socio-economic situation of the town in general and information and communication activities in Cua Lo town in particular.

Specifically: There are still not many in-depth topics in press publications; many planned propaganda contents cannot be implemented, especially promoting Cua Lo tourism; propaganda contents are not really diverse; information orientation and coordination in providing information are sometimes not timely...

At the meeting, the delegates focused on analyzing the existing problems and limitations and proposed solutions to overcome them, and proposed key directions for propaganda work in 2022 and the following years to bring propaganda activities about Cua Lo town to a new level; contributing to making Cua Lo town break through faster and stronger in all fields.

“In 2022 and the following years, Cua Lo town will focus on mobilizing all resources to invest and develop comprehensively in all fields, especially tourism services. Therefore, Cua Lo town needs more active and effective participation from Nghe An Newspaper, Nghe An Radio and Television Station and Nghe An Journalists Association to promote all activities of the town. I hope that the Journalists Association and press agencies will have ideas and initiatives to help Cua Lo's image shine and the coastal town develop further" - Comrade Doan Tien Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Lo town expressed.

Delegates and journalists attending the meeting had many enthusiastic opinions for Cua Lo town. Spread the image of a safe and attractive Year of Tourism

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Cua Lo Town Party Committee acknowledged and thanked the enthusiastic opinions of the journalists and delegates attending the meeting. Comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan suggested: After the meeting, the Propaganda Department and the Cua Lo Town Party Committee Office should proactively connect with Nghe An Newspaper, Nghe An Radio and Television Station, and the Journalists Association to develop a common propaganda and promotion plan; as well as the responsibilities and specific tasks of each agency and unit.

The Secretary of the Cua Lo Town Party Committee also shared: At this time, 80% of citizens over 18 years old in the town have been vaccinated against Covid-19. The town strives to complete vaccination coverage by the end of November 2021. Cua Lo has been doing a good job in epidemic prevention. The coastal town is safe from the Covid-19 epidemic. Hopefully, the press agencies will soon widely propagate this message... The Secretary of the Cua Lo Town Party Committee also expressed his wish: In the coming time, the press agencies in the province will have good and effective ways to make Cua Lo tourism more attractive.

Nghe An Newspaper also helps Cua Lo town build an attractive Youtube page; dedicates a special place on the electronic newspaper to update images of Cua Lo tourism activities... so that domestic and foreign tourists know more about Cua Lo and come to Cua Lo.

Nghe An Radio and Television Station will develop programs, reportages, clips, and news promoting Cua Lo tourism; prioritize broadcasting time to promote Cua Lo tourism before and during the tourist season; update news and articles introducing the potential, advantages, destinations, and products of Cua Lo on the Station's publications and channels; allocate time and prioritize broadcasting news articles produced by the Cua Lo Center for Culture, Sports, and Communications.

Nghe An Radio and Television Station will also coordinate with the Central Radio and Television Station and provinces and cities to broadcast the opening program of the tourism festival and develop reports and news articles promoting Cua Lo tourism on the stations, especially Cua Lo tourism 2022.

Nghe An Journalists Association will coordinate with the Department of Tourism and the Department of Information and Communications to organize a press conference to launch the 2022 contest to promote and advertise Cua Lo; regularly pay attention to and direct press and media agencies in the province to actively respond to promoting and advertising Cua Lo./.
