(Baonghean.vn) - The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Nghe An province is honored to have 3 people ordained as clergy: Venerable Thich Tho Lac was ordained as Venerable; Venerable Thich Minh Huong was ordained as Venerable; and Venerable Thich Dieu Nhan was ordained as Nun.

On the afternoon of December 9, at the Office of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province, comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee congratulated the dignitaries and officials of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province who were ordained as clergy and elected to the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha. Also attending were representatives of leaders of a number of departments, agencies and branches of the province.

Receiving the delegation were Most Venerable Thich Tho Lac - Standing Member of the Executive Council, Head of the Central Cultural Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province and other dignitaries and officials.

The 9th National Congress of Buddhist Delegates, term 2022 - 2027, was a great success, marking a new development step of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the new period.

Through this Congress, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha has agreed to amend the Charter to suit the activities of the Sangha in the new period and to honor the Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Council, elect the Standing Committee of the Sangha Council, and the Executive Council as representatives of morality and capacity, representing the sects and regions of the Sangha.

At the Congress, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province was honored to have 3 people ordained as clergy. Accordingly, Venerable Thich Tho Lac was ordained as Venerable; Venerable Thich Minh Huong was ordained as Venerable and Venerable Thich Dieu Nhan was ordained as Nun.

Also at the Congress, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province was honored to have Most Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu - Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province elected as Permanent Vice President of the Executive Council, Permanent Vice Head of the Sangha Council and Most Venerable Thich Tho Lac elected as Permanent Member, Head of the Cultural Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.
