(Baonghean.vn) - At quarantine points, members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee visited, encouraged and shared difficulties with officers, soldiers and medical staff on duty; at the same time expressed confidence that the military, police and medical forces would overcome difficulties and perform well the assigned tasks.

On the morning of April 1, members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Ngoc Kim Nam, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha, Commander of the Provincial Military Command visited, presented gifts, and encouraged officers, soldiers, doctors, and medical staff on duty at the quarantine areas at Nghe An Pedagogical College and the Center for Education, National Defense and Security of Vinh University.

At Nghe An Pedagogical College in Hung Loc commune, Vinh city, 365 people are currently being quarantined, mainly citizens returning from Laos and Thailand, and 112 Lao students studying at the school are being quarantined on site.

Here, the members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee encouraged citizens to feel secure and confident in implementing quarantine measures to prevent and control the epidemic.

At the same time, he affirmed that the Party Committee, government and army will create the best conditions to serve citizens during the quarantine period. At the same time, he requested citizens to strictly follow the medical quarantine process, regulations and instructions of the authorities, thereby contributing to protecting themselves, their families and society.

Every day, the quarantine area is cleaned, disinfectants are sprayed regularly, and citizens have their health checked and their body temperature measured.

Visiting, encouraging, giving gifts, and sharing difficulties with officers, soldiers, doctors, and nurses who are performing quarantine duties at Nghe An Pedagogical College, the members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee requested the team of officers, soldiers, doctors, medical staff, and service forces to make dedicated efforts to take care of and ensure all necessary necessities, not allowing citizens to leave the quarantine location, ensuring good zoning, isolation, and timely handling if any citizen shows signs of infection. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to maintaining health to be able to perform well the assigned tasks.

According to information from Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command. Yesterday, March 31, Nghe An continued to receive 1,004 people to centralized quarantine points.

As of the morning of April 1, Nghe An has quarantined 6,245 people at 22 quarantine points across the province.

On April 1, 135 people at the Vinh University Education, Defense and Security Center quarantined area finished their 14-day quarantine. By April 3, there will be 453 people and by April 9, there will be 1,100 people finishing their 14-day quarantine.

Faced with the complicated and unpredictable developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, the province is preparing quarantine sites and necessary resources to best serve the quarantine work.
