Provincial leaders award Party badges in Thanh Chuong, Do Luong

Thanh Chuong District Party CommitteeSolemnly held the Ceremony to award the 80-year Party badge to comrade Phan To Duc at his private home in Kim Tien village, Vo Liet commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Attending the Party Badge awarding ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc.

Comrade Phan To Duc (birth name: Phan Sy Phoc - alias Thanh Tam), was born on February 26, 1916, in a poor farming family in Kim Tien hamlet, Vo Liet commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Throughout his life of revolutionary activities, comrade Phan To Duc devoted himself entirely to the Party's goals and ideals, for the independence of the nation. Currently, he is 103 years old and has completed 80 years of Party membership.

During his work, comrade Phan To Duc was recognized by the Party and State for his contributions and was awarded many medals, certificates of merit, and certificates of merit...

At the ceremony, on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee respectfully presented the 80-year Party badge, presented flowers of congratulations and thanked comrade Phan To Duc for his contributions to the revolutionary movement of the country in general and Nghe An province in particular.

At the same time, the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that the awarding of the 80-year Party badge on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament and the 89th anniversary of Nghe Tinh Soviet Day demonstrated recognition of the contributions and dedication of Party members in general and of comrade Phan To Duc in particular to the cause of national liberation, independence, construction and protection of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

He wished veteran party member Phan To Duc good health, always setting a good example for generations of children, cadres and party members to learn from and follow; requested the Party Committee, the district and commune authorities and the Kim Tien village Party Cell to continue to pay attention and regularly take care of the health of veteran party members so that they can live long and healthy lives.

This time, Do Luong district was honored to have 8 party members awarded the 70-year Party badge by the Provincial Party Standing Committee, including: Ms. Tran Thi Phuong, born in 1927 in Do Luong town; Ms. Le Thi Nguyet, born in 1928 in Bac Son commune; Mr. Tran Hoan, born in 1932 in Dang Son commune; Ms. Tran Thi Diem, born in 1932 in Lac Son commune; Ms. Nguyen Thi Que, born in 1932, from Xuan Son commune; Mr. Hoang Van Duong, born in 1922 in Yen Son commune; Mr. Dau Van Hoanh, born in 1920 in Thinh Son commune and Mr. Nguyen Tho Sy in Dai Son commune.

At the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee awarded the 70-year Party badge to the Party members, expressing his deep gratitude to the Party members. These are dedicated Party members, loyal to the Party and the people throughout the two long resistance wars against foreign invaders of the nation. The Party members are exemplary models for today's and future generations to learn from and practice to become useful people for society.

* On the morning of September 12, Vinh Tan Ward Party Committee (Vinh City) held a ceremony to award Party Badges to Party members. Attending the ceremony were comrade Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee.

On May 19 and September 2, 2019, Vinh Tan Ward Party Committee had 25 party members receiving the 65, 55, 50, 45, 40 and 30-year Party badges, including 2 comrades receiving the 65-year Party badge.

Speaking and awarding the Party Badge to the Party members, comrade Phan Duc Dong - Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee acknowledged the contributions of the Party members in the cause of Party building and national construction; at the same time, he hoped that the Party members receiving the Party Badge would continue to uphold the exemplary spirit and be a reliable support for the Party Committee and local government.
