Xieng Khouang provincial leaders visit and wish Military Region 4 a Happy New Year

At the headquarters of Military Region 4, the delegation of Xieng Khouang province (Lao PDR) presented fresh flower baskets and New Year greetings to officers and soldiers of the Military Region's armed forces.

Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Xieng Khouang Province, Nobiha Tong Pao, affirmed that the important contribution of officers and soldiers of Military Region 4 to the development of the province. In recent times, the unit has provided much support to military units of Xieng Khouang Province in training and educating officers, building armed forces as well as building infrastructure, helping people implement economic development models to escape poverty. This has contributed to strengthening the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos in general, and between Military Region 4 and Xieng Khouang Province in particular.

In the coming time, the Party Committee, government and people of Xieng Khouang province hope that the officers and soldiers of Military Region 4 and units under Military Region 4 will continue to stand side by side, strengthen solidarity to support each other for sustainable development.

Receiving the sincere sentiments from the delegation of the neighboring province, Major General Ha Tan Tien - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 expressed his respect and gratitude to the delegation of Xieng Khouang province. He also affirmed that the results of the work of Military Region 4 have the contributions and support of the government, military units and people of the neighboring province. In particular, in carrying out the task of collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Laos. In the coming time, Military Region 4 will further strengthen the spirit of solidarity between the two armies, continue to implement well the contents of the cooperation program signed by the two sides to strengthen solidarity and friendship between the two sides.

On the same day, the delegation of Xieng Khouang province visited and extended New Year greetings to COECCO, Military Region 4 Economic Cooperation Corporation. Through the conversation, the delegation highly appreciated the activities of the Corporation in carrying out production and business tasks, combining with the implementation of economic development projects, helping local people to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty as well as building political bases, maintaining the situation in the two provinces.

In the coming time, Xieng Khouang provincial leaders hope that COECCO Economic Cooperation Company will continue to effectively promote forestry and agricultural extension projects to help people and continue to invest in expanding and replicating projects in other localities of Laos to maximize efficiency. Regularly exchange information, coordinate patrols, closely manage security situations on the border and effectively carry out the tasks of socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security.

In the warm and sincere atmosphere of the meeting, the representative of the leaders of the Economic Cooperation Company of Military Region 4 - COECCO expressed his sincere thanks to the Party Committee, government and people of Xieng Khouang province for their cooperation in helping the units of the Corporation to successfully carry out the tasks deployed in the province. In the coming time, the Corporation will continue to make efforts to effectively implement the set goals, contributing to strengthening the great friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos in the new situation.
