Leaders of the Central Party Office work in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 23, at the Provincial Military Command, the working delegation of the Party Central Committee Office led by comrade Le Quang Vinh - Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office worked with leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Military Command, Public Security, and Provincial Border Guard.

Working with the delegation were comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; heads of the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police, Border Guard and relevant departments, branches and sectors.

Overview of the work.

The meeting aimed to inspect and survey the implementation of Resolution No. 28-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2013 of the Party Central Committee (11th Term) on "Homeland Protection Strategy in the new situation" and Directive No. 46-CT/TW dated June 22, 2015 of the Politburo on "Strengthening the Party's leadership in ensuring security and order in the new situation" in Nghe An province.

At the working session, the working delegation of the Party Central Office and Nghe An province discussed the results, advantages, limitations, lessons learned, and proposals of the province after 3 years of implementing Resolution No. 28 of the Central Executive Committee (11th Term) and 1 year of implementing Directive No. 46 of the Politburo (11th Term).

Comrade Le Quang Vinh presented flowers to congratulate the Provincial Military Command on December 22.

Strictly implementing the leadership of the Central Government, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has directed agencies, units and localities to thoroughly grasp, deploy and concretize the action program.

The province has issued and implemented many projects and programs such as: Project "Building a solid defense zone to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation". Strengthening coordination between military, police and border forces, grasping the situation, and handling well the incidents arising at the grassroots level.

The provincial armed forces proactively improve the quality of training, defense zone drills, and PCLB-TKCN drills; organize and establish a force concurrently tasked with counter-terrorism; proactively deploy the construction of combat works, defense works, and rear bases, focusing on defense lines in the western border, sea routes, and islands; promote the activities of Steering Committee 94 on preventing "Peaceful Evolution" and "Force 47" on fighting in cyberspace... contributing to strengthening the potential and strength of the all-people national defense posture in the province's defense zone.

The Provincial Military Command established an anti-terrorism force, contributing to ensuring security and order in the area.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Le Quang Vinh emphasized: Nghe An is a large province, a key area, with a particularly important position, so the results of the inspection, survey, and work with the province are an important theoretical and practical basis for the Politburo and the Central Executive Committee to continue to supplement and perfect policies, guidelines, and effectively direct and lead national defense and security tasks in the coming time./.
