Man dies after crashing into electric pole

(Baonghean.vn) - The man driving the motorbike suddenly crashed straight into an electric pole on the side of the road, fell to the ground, and passed out on the spot.

The accident occurred at 5:00 p.m. on April 23, in Quynh Hau Commune, Quynh Luu District. At that time, Mr. Son (about 50 years old), residing in Hamlet 5, Quynh Hau Commune, was driving a motorbike from National Highway 1A, turning down to Quynh Hau intersection to go home. When he reached Hamlet 10, he suddenly crashed straight into an electric pole on the side of the road, causing Mr. Son to fall to the ground, unconscious on the spot; the motorbike was severely damaged.

Discovering the incident, people living nearby quickly took Mr. Son to the hospital, however, due to severe injuries, the victim died on the way to the emergency room.

Locals said that before the accident, the victim had been drinking alcohol and lost control, leading to the unfortunate accident.
