(Baonghean.vn) - Dien Chau District Police said they have issued a fine to 3 young men in a group of drivers on National Highway 1A in Dien Chau District for swerving and weaving, and are continuing to search for the rest for handling.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duy Thanh - Head of Dien Chau District Police said that as of the afternoon of March 17, Dien Chau District Traffic Police had found and recorded 3 young men who participated in the group of motorbike riders on National Highway 1A. These young men all reside in Dien Chau District. The rest are being sought by the police.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Thanh, the verification results determined that the group of young men riding motorbikes participated in a wedding procession on March 16 in Dien Chau district.

A day ago, a video appeared on Facebook showing a group of mostly young men driving motorbikes, carrying people on the back, all without helmets.

It is worth mentioning that this group of young men continuously weaved and swerved on National Highway 1A, obstructing other vehicles from participating in traffic, including one case of putting his foot down on his motorbike and speeding away.

After the video was posted, it attracted many comments and shares, most of whom expressed their dissatisfaction with this reckless act of disregarding traffic laws, which poses a potential risk of accidents.

According to the head of Dien Chau District Police, due to the poor quality of the video, it is impossible to clearly see all the license plates of the motorbikes involved. Therefore, the police will ask the person who filmed this video to provide additional information to help track down and handle all the remaining vehicles involved in the brawl as shown in the posted video.

Dien Chau District Police said they will strictly punish this group of people in accordance with the law to serve as a deterrent and propaganda.
