Born in a country that was destroyed and his home destroyed, witnessing the daily misery and slavery of the people, he soon formed the idea of patriotism and love for the people. With the policy of saving the country in a violent direction, Phan Boi Chau founded Duy Tan Hoi, Viet Nam Quang Phuc Hoi, and then Viet Nam Quoc Dan Dang to gather forces to fight with revolutionary weapons and ask for foreign aid.

Among those movements, the Dong Du movement with the spirit of “same continent, same race, same culture” that left the deepest impression was still the Dong Du movement. Although the Dong Du movement was not successful, it laid the foundation for changes in our country in the early 20th century. In particular, this was an important link, a milestone marking the friendship between Vietnam and Japan in the field of culture and education, and to this day the Dong Du movement still retains its value in the cause of national development.
On the morning of October 29, 1940 (September 29, Canh Thin year), he breathed his last at the thatched house on Ben Ngu slope (Hue). Mr. Phan's life was devoted entirely to the national liberation movement and was a shining example for generations to learn and follow./.
