For a consecutive week, Vietnam has had no new Covid-19 cases, people should not be subjective
The 6:00 a.m. news bulletin on April 23 of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control said that there were no new cases of Covid-19. Thus, for a full week now, Vietnam has had no new cases of Covid-19.
Total number of cases: 268 cases, including:
- 160 people from abroad account for 59.7%;
- 108 people infected in the community account for 40.3%;
Number of new cases from 6:00 p.m. April 22 to 6:00 a.m. April 23: 0 cases
Thus, since the morning of April 16 until now, for a consecutive week, Vietnam has not recorded any new cases of Covid-19, the number of cases is still 268.

People across the country, especially in low-risk localities, should not be subjective or negligent in the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic.
“People still need to continue to follow the principles of ensuring safety in epidemic prevention. These include: wearing masks; avoiding close contact; not gathering in large crowds, paying special attention to the elderly and people with chronic diseases; not leaving the house unless absolutely necessary and making a health declaration,” Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Dac Phu advised.
