Snipers of the peacekeeping brigade of the Central Military District conducted exercises at the Roshchinsky training ground in the Samara region, during which they learned how to conduct "humane" fire strikes, aimed at stopping an enemy attack without causing life-threatening damage, the press service of the Central Military District said.

"The task of peacekeepers is to ensure peace between the warring parties. Everyone has a family, relatives, we cannot act in the manner of murderers. Usually, our enemies are not militants, not terrorists. Our task is first of all to make these people, who for some reason took up arms, think again, not to commit stupid acts" - said the commander of the sniper unit, Captain Andrei Mutin.

Snipers are instructed to prepare primary and secondary firing positions, to work in teams of two, to determine people's motives, detect weapons, and to open fire. The first few shots are fired at the feet to scare the enemy.

It should be noted that fire is conducted from modern SVD rifles and ASVK-M rifles, actively using modern optical devices and thermal imaging equipment.
