Victim's account of serious accident on National Highway 1A

Ms. Ho Thi Chung, from Sam Son City, Thanh Hoa, one of the victims, recounted: Most of the passengers on the bus knew each other, they were on the way from Thanh Hoa to Nghe An to attend a festival. The bus departed from Thanh Hoa at around 2am on March 16. There were 21 adults and 3 children on the bus, everyone was sleeping when suddenly there was a loud noise, followed by panic, crying, many people fainted and were covered in blood.

As of 9am this morning, there was one more death, Mrs. Tran Thi Thach, born in 1969, from Sam Son City, Thanh Hoa. Apart from the two people who were seriously injured, the remaining victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The three children in the car only suffered minor injuries.
