Man City earns more than $5 million from World Cup 2018
As the team with the most players participating in the tournament in Russia, Man City benefits greatly from FIFA's compensation policy.
According to the agreement between FIFA and the clubs, for each player serving the team during the 2018 World Cup, the home team will receive $8,546 per day.
Man City is the club with the most players participating in the 2018 World Cup. Data collection company Tonka said,The Etihad Stadium team will receive compensation of up to nearly $5.17 million from FIFA, the highest among clubs worldwide.

Of Man City's 16 World Cup 2018 players, seven stayed until the final day in Russia, thanks to their qualification for the semi-finals. They included Vincent Kompany, Kevin De Bruyne, Kyle Walker, John Stones, Raheem Sterling, Fabian Delph, Benjamin Mendy.
Following Man City in terms of compensation from FIFA are Real Madrid, Chelsea and Tottenham. In the top 10 receiving the most money from the 2018 World Cup, there are four English clubs and three Spanish clubs. France has two representatives, while Juventus is the only Italian team.
The three clubs that come after Juventus in 10th place on FIFA's list of highest-paid clubs are all English: Liverpool ($2.78 million), Arsenal ($2.51 million) and Southampton ($1.09 million).
Across the leagues, the Premier League received $42.3 million in compensation from FIFA, accounting for a fifth of the total money the organization paid to clubs. La Liga and the Bundesliga were the next two, with $21.7 million and $18.5 million respectively.
