Most chosen electric and small cars

After 10 days of launching (March 8 - March 18, 2018), attracting nearly 300,000 visits, the electric car IDG EV A and the small car IDG ICE A won first place in the "Choose your favorite car with Vinfast" contest, round 2.

The second round of the "Choose your favorite car with Vinfast" contest announced 36 car models, including 17 electric cars and 19 small cars, designed by 4 of the world's leading car designers: Ital Design, One One Lab, Pininfarina, Torino Design specifically for the Vinfast car production project, belonging to Vingroup.

The electric car IDG EV A and the small car IDG ICE A came in first place with 22.8% and 21% of the votes respectively.

The common point of the designs is that they closely follow the design trends of electric cars and small cars in the world. Some models also subtly incorporate Asian symbols such as the wings of a bird or slanted eyes with fire...

In the end, the electric car IDG EV A and the small car IDG ICE A came in first with 22.8% and 21% of the votes, respectively.

Compared to the other 34 designs, the two designs above are considered outstanding for their strong and trendy beauty. In particular, both designs carry the stylized "V" symbol, which is inspired and proud of Vietnam.

Going into detail, the design of the IDG EV A electric car emphasizes width with sharp lines, expressing a sporty, dynamic style. In contrast, the design of the small car IDG ICE A emphasizes simplicity, sophistication but no less sharp.

"Following the success of the first phase of "Choose your favorite car with Vinfast", we continue to put our trust in consumer tastes. Our goal is not only to create modern, trendy and world-class Vinfast cars, but also to convey the pride of Vietnamese brand cars," said Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman and General Director of Vingroup.

According to the plan, Vinfast will realize the electric car and small car models by the end of 2019, nearly a year earlier than expected. Before that, Vinfast will launch two Sedan and SUV models developed based on the designs voted by the most consumers in the "Choose your favorite car with Vinfast" contest, phase 1, at the Paris Motorshow in October 2018 and in Vietnam in December 2018.

After 10 days of launching, the contest organizers have found the winners, achieving both criteria: choosing the two car designs that received the most votes and in the shortest time. The process of determining the winners was carried out publicly by Vinfast through the management system of the website www.binhchonmauxe.vinfast.vn, under the witness of representatives of the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) and customer representatives.

Thus, in more than 4 months, Vinfast has announced a total of 56 designs for 4 car lines: sedan, SUV, small car and electric car, made by the world's leading car design studios. Currently, the company is urgently completing work items according to schedule, such as building a factory in Dinh Vu - Cat Hai economic zone (Hai Phong), signing contracts with major partners in the world to build factories, develop model cars and produce cars.
