Martyr's mother donates 5,000 m2 to open traffic route
(Baonghean.vn) - Ms. Lang Thi La, mother of martyr Ha Van Sy, in Duong Le hamlet, Nghia Dung commune, Tan Ky district (Nghe An) voluntarily donated 5,000 m2land to open wider village roads, serving economic and social development in the area.

Lang Thi La's mother had a second son, Ha Van Sy, who died in the resistance war against the US to save the country. Her family's life is not yet well off, but when the commune mobilized to contribute to building the new rural area, her family volunteered to donate 5,000m2 of land, including forestry land and 100m2 of residential land to build a village road. The donated land also includes 3,000 eucalyptus trees and a fish pond. The expanded village road is practically helpful for people's travel.
Mr. Ha Van Huyen - Mrs. La's son shared: "Land is a valuable asset, a place for farming of every farmer. But thinking that our little asset can help make the lives of the villagers more convenient, my family is willing to contribute. Seeing many changes in the village, easier roads, we are very excited."

Mr. Pham Van Loi - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Dung commune, said: "Mrs. Lang Thi La's family, despite their difficult circumstances, voluntarily donated land to open a road. This is a valuable and honorable act for the community."
In recognition of her family's contributions, the People's Committee of Nghe An province awarded a Certificate of Merit for outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good people, good deeds", period 2010-2015. Tan Ky district also recognized Mrs. La's family as a typical example in the movement "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh".
