Mitsubishi Mirage Eco reduces equipment, price 370 million in Vietnam

Both Mirage and Attrage add an Eco version, cutting down on equipment compared to the MT version to reduce the price.

Mitsubishi Vietnam introduces new versions and announces new price lists for both Mirage and Attrage, while applying a December promotion program.

The new Eco version is below the standard version, created by removing equipment from the standard version, thereby reducing the selling price. Specifically, in the new price list, compared to the MT version priced at 410 million, the Mirage MT Eco version costs 380 million, 30 million lower because it does not have the ABS anti-lock braking system and EBD electronic brake force distribution, lacks the remote door locking feature, and the luggage compartment does not have lighting.

Mirage CVT Eco40 million lower than the CVT version due to smart key cutting, push-button start, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear lever, and rear spoiler.December cars reduced by 10-20 million each version.

The MT and CVT versions are still the versions sold before, with a discount of 48 million for the MT version and 58 million for the CVT version (including the discount of the new price list and incentives in December).

Similar to Mirage, Attrage also has an MT Eco version that is 28 million cheaper than Attrage MT because it has removed remote door locking, fog lights, chrome fog light trim, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear lever, central door locking, fuel economy indicator light, rear seat headrests, rear seat armrests and 2 fewer speakers.

Attrage CVT Eco is also inferior to Attrage CVT in smart key and push-button start, no leather upholstery on the steering wheel and gear lever, no audio and hands-free calling buttons, manual air conditioning instead of automatic, no fuel economy indicator light and fabric interior instead of leather upholstery. The difference between the two versions is 35 million.

The new Attrage MT Eco version costs 422 million VND, reduced by 10 million VND in December to 412 million VND, the CVT Eco version costs 470 million VND, reduced by 10 million VND to 460 million VND. Only Attrage MT and CVT are reduced according to the new price list, but there is no promotion program in December.

Attrage is a competitor of Vios, with advantages due to import and difference in driving experience.

However, the Eco versions still have some significant equipment and features such as dual airbags, one-touch driver's window with anti-jam function, electric rearview mirror, multi-information display, rear window heating system...

Mitsubishi Vietnam’s launch of new versions of both small cars helps save initial costs for those who want to buy an imported car, especially for travel needs during holidays and Tet. The new versions have reduced equipment to serve only the minimum needs.

In recent months, price reductions have been a regular announcement from many car manufacturers in Vietnam with the aim of pushing inventory and boosting sales when the general mentality of many customers is to wait until 2018 to see if car prices continue to decrease.
