On the afternoon of July 15, Binh Thuan Radio and Television Station issued a notice to stop broadcasting the Chinese-produced drama "New Shanghai Bund" that was being broadcast on the station.
Ms. Dang Thi Kim Oanh, Deputy Director of Binh Thuan Radio and Television Station, said that the station will stop broadcasting the feature film "New Shanghai Bund" from July 16 because actor Huynh Hieu Minh, who plays the main role, along with many other Chinese stars, expressed disagreement with the international arbitration court's ruling on the Philippines' lawsuit against China regarding the East Sea issue.
Ms. Oanh said that the 40-episode series "New Shanghai Bund", which was broadcast at 12 noon, will stop broadcasting at episode 20 on July 16.
