A man died after being hit by an excavator while repairing a bridge over a lake.
(Baonghean.vn) - While repairing a bridge over a hill, a 46-year-old man was hit by an excavator and died after being taken to the hospital. The heartbreaking incident happened at 5:00 p.m. on August 31 in Thanh Tung commune, Thanh Chuong district.

After the flood caused by storm No. 4, the bridge over Hoi Ri connecting Thanh Ha commune and Thanh Tung commune was damaged, causing difficulties for people to travel. On the afternoon of August 31, some households in Hoi Ri area, Thanh Tung commune organized to repair this bridge.
While instructing the excavator, Mr. Hoang Van Noi in Phuong Loc hamlet, Thanh Tung commune, standing behind the machine, was hit by the excavator's bucket, breaking his chest.

After being transferred to Thanh Chuong District General Hospital for emergency treatment, due to severe injuries, Mr. Noi did not survive and was taken home at 8:00 p.m. the same day to prepare for the funeral.
It is known that Mr. Noi's family in the Ri refugee camp is in a difficult situation. The couple has 4 children, the wife and the second child are often sick, his child just had surgery for a tumor.
