Heavy rain causes localized flooding in western Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) – From 3-4 p.m. on August 22, heavy rains occurred in some mountainous districts of Western Nghe An, causing localized flooding on many roads. Typically, in Tho Son commune (Anh Son), water rose high and flooded houses, causing flooding at some locations.

The heavy rain lasted for more than 1 hour causing flooding in many places in Tho Son commune (Anh Son).

Many inter-commune roads have high water levels causing traffic difficulties.

The pesticide storage building in village 5 is under construction, many deep water holes near the road are dangerous for passersby.

Water flooded into the yards of households.

Many households had water flooding into their houses.

Offices and schools were also heavily affected by flooding.

By this morning (August 23), the water had receded.

Staff and teachers of Tho Son Kindergarten actively clean the school to welcome students.

The heavy rains and floods have caused localized flooding and have significantly affected the lives and activities of people in Tho Son commune.
