Heavy rain in Con Cuong area causes flooding in many areas

(Baonghean.vn) - At 4:00 a.m. on September 20, heavy rain lasting nearly 2 hours in Con Cuong district caused localized flooding.

According to local residents, prolonged heavy rains have caused many roads in Con Cuong town to be flooded, with many areas being nearly 1 meter deep. In particular, in the central market area, many shops had to close due to water flooding inside.

In Yen Khe and Chi Khe communes, localized flooding also occurred, affecting many crop areas. In particular, National Highway 7 through Chi Khe commune, flooding has caused difficulties for vehicles to pass. Accordingly, local authorities have had to mobilize forces to be on duty on both sides of the road to regulate traffic.
