This is the occasion for people to harvest cassava to prepare for the new production season.

The average price of cassava is 2,000 VND/kg. According to many people, cassava is very suitable for Na Ngoi so it has high productivity, with a harvest of 5-7 kg. |

The purchase of cassava tubers took place a few days before the launch of production and processing. The cassava products were purchased by the Factory for more than a month. However, in the first days, people sold more than 20 tons. With about 40 hectares in Na Ngoi commune, each year the unit buys nearly 300 tons of cassava tubers for the people, enough raw materials for production for the whole year. |

The dong rieng is put into a rotating machine to wash away dirt and impurities; and then cut into small pieces before being put into the grinder. |

After washing and pre-processing, the arrowroot tubers are cut into small pieces. With this production line, the factory can process 5-7 tons of arrowroot tubers per day. To ensure no damage, the unit will notify the schedule so that people can plan to import to the unit. |

After being pressed by the machine, the cellophane noodles are dried under natural sunlight. Every day, staff regularly check and turn the noodles to dry evenly. |

On average, on a sunny day, the factory produces about 10 dong vermicelli; on a wet and rainy day, production is not possible. |

A representative of Economic - Defense Group 4 said that each year the unit produces about 33-35 tons of vermicelli, with an average price of 70,000 VND/kg. |

The vermicelli products of Economic - Defense Group 4 are packaged and branded "Phu xai lai leng vermicelli", the name of the highest mountain peak in Ky Son, right where the unit is located. |
