Celebrating Vietnam's National Day, Mr. Putin is pleased with the friendly relations between the two countries.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a congratulatory telegram to Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of National Day, expressing confidence in further development of active cooperation between the two countries, the Kremlin press service said.

"Mr. Putin expressed confidence in the further development of political dialogue, bilateral cooperation in various fields between the two countries, as well as partner coordination in solving urgent international issues, for the benefit of the two peoples of Russia and Vietnam, in the spirit of strengthening stability and security in the Asia-Pacific region," the press agency quoted Mr. Putin as saying.
In addition, in the telegram, the head of the Russian Federation expressed satisfaction with the friendly and constructive relations between the two countries.
