Male patient died in sewer while escaping hospital
While fishing, a local resident suddenly discovered a decomposed body of a man.
On October 7, Mr. Pham Van Truong, Chief of Yen Giang Commune Police (Yen Dinh District, Thanh Hoa) said that the authorities are verifying the cause of the unusual death of a man who was recently discovered in the area.

According to Mr. Truong, last night, fishermen suddenly saw a dead body floating on the water surface in the Hoi culvert area, in village 3, Yen Giang commune. Next to the victim's body was a patient's uniform from a large hospital in the province. In addition, people also informed that this person had been in the area 2-3 days ago and showed unusual signs.
The victim was later identified as Quach Van Hue (born in 1965, from Vinh Long commune, Vinh Loc district, Thanh Hoa). Relatives said that before his death, he was being treated at Thanh Hoa General Hospital, but escaped from the hospital on October 4 and went missing. The family then organized a search for the victim but could not find him.
