Que Phong supports more than 860 million VND to buy buffalo and cow breeding for people.
On April 2, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Que Phong district organized a ceremony to present 864 million VND to poor households in the communes of Chau Kim, Nam Nhong and Tien Phong to buy breeding buffaloes and cows under the livelihood model "Raising local breeding buffaloes and cows".

This livelihood support program is implemented from the "For the Poor" Fund in 2025, with a total support amount of VND 864 million for 72 households. Specifically, Chau Kim commune has 50 households, Nam Nhong commune has 8 households and Tien Phong commune has 14 households receiving support; each household receives VND 12 million.
With this money, people will proactively choose suitable breeds to care for, develop the economy, create jobs, increase income, and aim to escape poverty sustainably.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, the leader of the Que Phong District Fatherland Front Committee requested the commune authorities to pay attention and accompany the households in the process of raising livestock. At the same time, the beneficiaries need to make effective use of the support resources, take care of livestock properly and combine with other support programs to develop the economy and improve sustainable living conditions./.
