On the morning of June 26, Nam Dan recorded 2 more cases positive for SARS-CoV-2, both of which were F1 of patient LTH, residing in Phuong Kieu hamlet, Trung Phuc Cuong commune, previously recorded. That same night, the health sector took 4,200 samples.testfor the people of Trung Phuc Cuong commune. Leaders of the Department of Health, the Provincial Center for Disease Control, and leaders of Nam Dan district directly directed the sample collection and testing.

Two medical units including 52 CDC medical staff and 20 medical staff from Nam Dan District Medical Center participated in taking samples at 15 cultural houses in Trung Phuc Cuong commune. In addition to the medical force, there were police, soldiers, Youth Union and local authorities who coordinated to guide people to maintain order and comply with epidemic prevention regulations such as sitting apart, wearing masks properly, disinfecting, measuring body temperature, making medical declarations, etc. before taking samples. Accordingly, each family was assigned a representative to take samples for testing, and the entire blockade area of 182 households in Phuong Kieu hamlet was sampled.

Present at Trung Phuc Cuong commune, along with directing and encouraging medical staff to participate in sample collection, leaders of the Department of Health, leaders of Nghe An CDC, and leaders of Nam Dan district inspected the quarantine area and disease prevention work in Trung Phuc Cuong commune.
After completing the sampling, 4,200 test samples were transported to Nghe An CDC for testing. Previously, Kim Lien and Nam Giang communes also took 5,200 test samples from people, all of which tested negative for SARS-CoV-2./.
