Nam Dan held a ceremony to award the Certificate of Merit to martyrs
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 26, Xuan Lam commune, Nam Dan district held a ceremony to posthumously award the Certificate of Merit to the relatives and family of martyr Bang Trong Hoi - former Party cell secretary and Chairman of the Red Farmers' Association.
Martyr Bang Trong Hoi was born in 1907, alias Hong Lam, hometown Nam Lam commune, Nam Dan district (now hamlet 2, Xuan Lam commune, Nam Dan). He became enlightened about the revolution and joined the Party on June 5, 1930, and was a Party cell leader of Tong Lam Quang Thinh (now Xuan Lam commune).

With revolutionary enthusiasm and tireless work, he was captured by the enemy twice, the last time while he was operating at Nui Chung, Kim Lien, Nam Dan, which was also the time when he was assigned the important responsibility of Party Cell Secretary and Chairman of the Red Farmers' Association. In 1940, he sacrificed his life at the Kim Nhan prison in Phuc Son.
Due to his secret activities, information about him has only now been confirmed by all levels. In recognition of his sacrifice and contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, comrade Bang Trong Hoi was posthumously awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Fatherland./.
