Male student used slingshot to break 9 car windows to steal property

On April 13, Sa Pa District Police, Lao Cai issued a temporary detention order for Nguyen Quang Huy (18 years old) in Sa Pa town to clarify the act of property destruction.
At the police station, Huy confessed that he had watched car window smashing online and then prepared a slingshot and a bag of iron pellets. In the early morning of April 8, Huy, wearing a mask, used the slingshot to break 9 car windows to steal property. Next, Huy broke the hydraulic glass windows of 2 other families in the area.
After 5 days of investigation, through security camera images of households, the police identified Huy as the culprit and persuaded Huy to surrender.
