Young man died hanging, feet still touching the ground

People exercising discovered a 19-year-old man dead, hanging. His feet were still touching the ground, his face was pressed against a tree trunk.

On September 4, people discovered a young man dead, hanging from a tree in a hill area in group 5, neighborhood 1 (Buu Long ward, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai).

The victim was about 1.7 m tall, wearing jeans and a black jacket. The body was hung from a tree with an electric wire, feet still touching the ground, face down against the tree trunk.

Upon receiving the news, Bien Hoa City Police arrived at the scene, recorded the crime scene, conducted a forensic examination, and investigated the incident. Authorities identified the deceased as Bui Van Sang (19 years old, from U Minh Thuong district, Kien Giang).

According to the young man’s relatives, Sang came to Dong Nai to live and work with his cousin. He recently met a girl but then broke up. This person left and cut off contact with his family last week.

Authorities are investigating whether this was a suicide or a murder and a fake crime scene.
