Improve the efficiency of state administrative agencies

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 12, under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Thai Binh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Home Affairs and Deputy Ministers, the Ministry of Home Affairs held an online conference with 63 provinces and cities nationwide to summarize the work in 2015 and deploy tasks in 2016.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Phuc - Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister attended and directed the conference.

Nghe An province bridge, participating in the conference were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Le Xuan Dai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Cao Thi Hien - Director of the Department of Home Affairs; representatives of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

The 2015 work evaluation report at the conference stated: During the year, the Ministry of Home Affairs and the home affairs sector nationwide focused on perfecting policies and institutions on organizational structure and payroll management; and management of cadres, civil servants, and public employees.

The sector also advised the Government to decide to increase salaries for some subjects with salary coefficients of 2.34 or lower; increase allowances and preferential allowances for people with meritorious services; increase pensions, social insurance allowances, and monthly allowances for retired commune officials.

Representatives of departments, branches and sectors attended the conference.

The Ministry of Home Affairs and the home affairs sector have also advised the 13th National Assembly to pass the Law on Organization of Government in 2015, creating a legal corridor in state management activities of local government, meeting the requirements of the new period.

Administrative reform has been promoted in a quick, convenient and timely manner at all levels and sectors from the central to local levels. State management activities on emulation and rewards; documents and archives; association management, youth work, female cadre work and other tasks have also been innovated by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Home Affairs sector nationwide to improve the quality and effectiveness of management.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Phuc - Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the efforts of the Ministry and the Home Affairs sector nationwide in 2015, actively contributing to promoting socio-economic development nationwide, creating a very good business environment in Vietnam.

Besides, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc also frankly pointed out the existing problems and difficulties in the work of Home Affairs, requiring continued innovation and improvement in the coming time.

In particular, the staff in the internal affairs system need to be better aware of their role in advising on continuing to perfect the organizational apparatus and staff structure from the central to local levels.

Continue to perfect institutions and policies in the field of Home Affairs to be consistent with the country's development process and international integration.
