(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 6, the Steering Committee for the Defense Zone Exercise of Nghe An province held a conference to approve the Defense Zone Exercise Plan for Que Phong district and Cua Lo town, and the Flood and Storm Prevention - Search and Rescue Exercise Plan.Tan Ky district.

Colonel Ha Tan Tien, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Deputy Standing Committee of the Provincial Defense Area Exercise Steering Committee chaired the conference. Attending the conference were leaders of the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police, Provincial Border Guard Command, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; members of the Provincial Exercise Steering Committee; leaders of localities participating in the 2016 exercise.

He emphasized that after the plan approval, Tan Ky and Que Phong districts and Cua Lo town need to focus on leadership and direction to complete all preparations, focusing on preparing documents for the mechanism drill; actively practicing the live-fire part, ensuring the handling of combat situations and flood and storm prevention situations close to actual combat and local conditions, ensuring the safety of people and weapons and equipment.
