On the afternoon of April 21, Mr. Thai Van Thanh - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An said: If the epidemic continues to be well controlled and Nghe An ends the period of social isolation, the Department of Education and Training will propose to the Provincial People's Committee a plan for students to return to school from the beginning of next week (April 27).

However, to ensure the safety of students returning to school, high school students will return first. Next, middle school students will return in sequence, followed by primary and preschool students.
Another option is that the whole province will return to school in early May.
While making the final decision, the Department of Education and Training has also completed the criteria for safe schools. This will be the basis for schools to prepare conditions to ensure the safety of students and teachers before students return to school and during the learning process.
Currently, provinces such as Thanh Hoa, Ca Mau, and Thai Binh are implementing regulations such as students sitting 2 meters apart, measuring students' body temperature before entering and ending each class, and educational institutions maintaining cleaning and disinfecting schools and classrooms according to regulations.
