Russia thwarts Ukraine's drone attack plot on 3 areas
Ukraine plans to attack three regions of the Russian Federation with drones – Russian Defense Ministry said.
“On January 11, at about 04:30 Moscow time (08:30 Hanoi time), the Kiev authorities’ attempt to carry out a drone attack on facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted. The UAVs were intercepted by combat air defense systems in the airspace over Rostov, Tula and Kaluga regions,” – the news said.
According to Kaluga region governor Vladislav Shapsha, a drone explosion occurred on the outskirts of Kaluga, right above the equipment of a pumping station. He said the building was damaged but there was no fire or injuries.
