"The start of the S-400 deliveries may be postponed from July to June," the source said.
Earlier, Türkiye announced that it would not abandon its plans to purchase the S-400 and that the first batch of air defense systems would arrive in the country in July.
The United States claims that the S-400 systems are incompatible with NATO standards, threatening Ankara with sanctions over the decision and repeatedly announcing that it could delay or cancel the sale of the most modern F-35 aircraft to Türkiye.
Türkiye is one of the countries participating in the international program to build the US F-35 aircraft. Türkiye has also repeatedly stated that the S-400 does not pose a threat to the F-35.
